Specialties
Although we specialize in therapy for adults experiencing past traumatic events, anxiety, depression, and low self-worth, we have extensive experience supporting diverse populations and a wide range of mental health concerns.
Our clients benefit from our services for various challenges, including depression and anxiety, PTSD, medical issues, relational difficulties, and separation/divorce. We draw from a variety of disciplines and therapeutic modalities, including EMDR, CBT, DBT, Mind-Body Bridging, family and group therapy, and Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP) for couples. Additionally, we incorporate attachment theory and mentalization-based psychodynamic psychotherapy to create an empathic environment where individuals can safely explore and address longstanding struggles.

Our approach is forward-looking, focusing on our clients’ goals and desires rather than remaining rooted in past obstacles. This mindset can be especially beneficial for couples, offering the opportunity to build a more connected and hopeful future together
Anxiety
Fear and anxiety are common, evolutionary emotions that can help us identify and protect ourselves in dangerous situations. However, when it feels like our alarm bells are constantly ringing, it can be exhausting, leading us to avoid parts of our lives to maintain feelings of safety. Anxiety disorders encompass a range of conditions, including Generalized Anxiety Disorder (GAD), Specific Phobias, Social Anxiety Disorder (SAD), Selective Mutism (SM), Panic Disorder, Agoraphobia, and Separation Anxiety Disorder. We will work with you to systematically overcome these fears. Anxiety disorders are both incredibly common and treatable.
Parenting
Parenting a child, adolescent, or young adult who is struggling can be highly challenging. Often, common-sense techniques or advice from well-intentioned friends are insufficient in meeting the unique needs of a struggling child. Over time, this cycle of negative interactions can leave parents and children feeling frustrated and sometimes hopeless. This is where our work comes in. Together in therapy, we will address limit-setting and ways to support your children while building their independence and success. Parent training is a behavioral approach designed to enhance your skills in managing challenging child behaviors. Our focus is on building your skills, providing effective strategies, and helping you feel empowered to meet your child’s needs on a daily basis.
Depression
Feeling sad in response to an upsetting or stressful situation is a normal and healthy reaction. However, for many, this sadness is better categorized as depression—a chronic and intense feeling of sadness that is not directly tied to external factors. Depression can lead to changes such as disruptions in sleep or eating patterns, decreased energy, and a loss of interest in activities that were once pleasurable. Depression manifests differently for each person and includes various types such as persistent depressive disorder, major depressive disorder, and bipolar disorder. I work with patients to help them accurately identify and manage their emotional experiences, and to rediscover excitement and pleasure in previously enjoyed activities and relationships.
Executive Functioning
Executive functioning refers to higher-level cognitive functions such as attention, flexibility, inhibitory control, initiation, organization, planning, self-monitoring, and working memory. I offer executive functioning tutoring to help individuals who struggle with getting work done, frequently lose track of time and materials, have difficulty maintaining focus on tasks, and find it challenging to complete tasks within a set time-frame.
